Bright Geometry
Derived from the ancient Greek word Phaedra, Fedra is a name that inherits the shining definition of “bright.”
The Fedra Lounge Collection plays with bright colors, soft volumes and unconventional shapes,
delivering sofas, armchairs and benches that display structure and an overload of charisma.
Fedra adapts to the needs of the user, with pieces that can be arranged to create a unique layout that will light up your spaces.
Luminous Interactions
Fedra contrasts rational shapes with great configurational freedom, supporting the user’s originality and creative force. Think of the areas in your home, workspace or commercial business where Fedra would shine and dazzle every single visitor.
Aimed to inspire a younger audience, Fedra offers pieces that provide comfort, amusement and well-being. Some of its distinct elements are the curved corner modules and the backrest system that can be mounted on both sides of the seat. This allows for a multitude of configurations and seating situations that provide endless opportunities for interaction and connection.
Fedra’s architectural concept is finished by focusing on the base; light and discreet yet solid and robust, this tubular-shaped piece boasts painted steel and decisive geometric lines, giving a uniquely beautiful character to the sofa.
d.Flux Studio is the partnership of designers Massimo Trevisan and Riccardo Brasolin, scholars of residential architecture and architectural acoustic design. The project started by the two architects combines experience of design history with research in the application of new materials and new technologies.
Features & Options
The Fedra Collection offers a single armchair, 2 or 3-seater sofa, and a modular system of benches, armchairs and sofas.
The use of single backrests and armrests that can be combined with the benches,
allows the customization of the modules and the creation of different combinations.
The internal structure is made of plywood, the padding of the seat, backrest and armrests is made in flexible, non-deformable polyurethane.
A sheet of memory foam is added to the seat padding to increase comfort.
The base is in tubular steel, painted with white or black epoxy powder paint.
The 3-seater version of both the bench and the sofa is equipped with a central leg.
