A tribute to the Origami tradition, the AP stool was designed by renowned Japanese artist Shin Azumi.
Presenting a fluid, abstract form and an ergonomic shape,

Patterns of Expression


Following the Origami aesthetic, the AP is made of wood that is folded, just like one would see in the paper art.

In this practice, our senses are free to capture shapes that go beyond the obvious. When looking at the AP stool, and especially if we group the pieces in a harmonious way, we can spot images of birds and butterflies, miscellaneous figures of nature and even the shapes of stars in the sky.
